Warehouse Manager
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for notifying appropriate party if items are damaged or missing.
Manages the staff that maintains the public spaces of Ulu Creative.
Manages the staff that maintains inventory: updates and accurately inventories back stock items.
Manages the staff that maintains a neat and safe work environment.
Manages the staff that accurately and clearly labels event components so they are transported properly.
Manages all scheduling and shipping of props / decor and event product throughout Hawaii
Expected to understand safety procedures and tools for the department
Other essential duties as assigned.
Position Purpose & Focus
Warehouse Manager effectively leads the team in supporting deadlines of all Ulu Creative client events; Schedule shipping of product to and from events, loading and unloading of trucks, inventory maintenance and upkeep, facility maintenance, and storage evaluation. Responsible for the hiring, training, and motivating the performance of the event logistics team. Responsible for the operations and maintenance of Ulu Creative vehicle fleet. Leads and facilitates a culture of safety and organization for the warehouse.
Qualifications | Competencies | Success Factors
High School Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3+ years in a people managerial role
3 + years Stockroom/Shipping/Receiving supervisory, or related experience in a leadership role, within an events production environment.
